Mahi Gill is a bollywood actress who won immense critical acclaim for her debut Hindi film
‘Dev D’ released in 2009. However she started her acting career with Punjabi films and theatre plays. Mahi Gill was born as Rimpi Gill on 19th December 1975 in Chandigarh. She attended the Panjab University, Chandigarh and earned her Master’s Degree in 1998. Mahi played the
lead actress in Anurag Kashyup’s ‘Dev D’. She played the character of Paro and received
great acclaim from the critics for her role. The story of ‘Dev D’ is a modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Bengali novel ‘DevDas’. Mahi has acted in Anurag Kashyap's
Gulaal in 2009 and caught the attention of the cine goers. Her last movie Dabangg was a
great success across the country. Presently, mahi is finishing up with Ribhu Dasgupta's
